The Beginning of The Hidden Mysteries Revealed
I wish to emphasize a point that while some items will resolve themselves within the bible as you read the chapters and verses, that is, the bible deciphers itself, you will NEVER, EVER, solve many of the larger questionable and puzzling items without venturing outside the bible itself, meaning, you must have some understanding of the numerous scientific fields of study to gain a “gestalt,” an organized whole that is perceived as more than the sum of its parts.
By reading a variety of the science information, at some point in time, this gestalt starts to manifest itself within the sphere of your knowledge, when suddenly, you can start to observe the string connections between the sciences, the bible, and a host of other disciplines. The reason the bible will not decipher itself entirely is because of the human nature [error factor] involved in putting together the bible, while at the same time, for various reasons and surely not “inspired,” leaving out many other texts that should have been included in the compilation of the bible, but weren’t for religious, political, social, economic reasons and more. Without this external source of knowledge, one will forever been held captive in a loop of circular reasoning, never to understand the depth, breadth and scope of the verses offered before us.
So now, let us take a look at some verses to introduce Job, and then on to Ezekiel.
Genesis 1: 14: “and God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, for seasons, and for days, and years:”
Psalm 147: 4: “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.”
Psalm 19: 1-4: “The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament sheweth his handiwork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. [There is] no speech or language, [where] their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them has he set a tabernacle for the sun.” King James Version
Wow, did you just read all of that! There is abundant information bring revealed to us in just those six verses alone! The stars are to be signs [symbols] for us to interpret. He has named all the stars in the heavens. The lights [stars] in the heaven to be for signs for us, to denote seasons, and to count the days and years! That “He” has numbered all the stars, and all have been given names! Who is “He?” Is it god, God, GOD, or is it what I would name “ONE WHO HAS NO NAME?” I will write more about this in a future blog.
Having declared that the heavens reveal God’s glory, the Psalmist informs us that the heavens declare a message in a language that is understood by ALL peoples. Night unto night sheweth knowledge; what is it that we see at night when we gaze up at the sky? Stars and constellations, of course! And of course, the speech rendered is not the spoken word, but observation. And during the day, the people spoke of it and what they gleaned from their observations. As well, is not the starry evenings lined throughout the world for everyone to observe? Lastly, in them [stars] he has set them as a temple for the sun. What could that be except the science of astronomy!
These starry worlds of stars in fact do show the handiwork, but explain little about the “glory of God.” How then can the stars be made to speak, in a language everyone understands? The answer is very evident. Pictures, or symbols speak in all dialects, a universal language to all peoples everywhere. Somewhere in the earliest ages of human existence or most likely before the existence of humanity on earth, the visible stars were named. Someone, thoroughly knowledgeable with the laws of astronomy, who has been out there in the cosmos, arranged certain stars, based upon their location, into groups, for our little corner of the Milky Way Galaxy. Those names and groupings were at the same time included in certain figures, natural or imaginary, but intensely symbolic and significant. Today we know them as the Constellations.
What is truly remarkable is that these stars and constellation names were the same around the globe without any difference. If we examine the records of the ancient nations of the world we find the Sumerian, Chinese, Akkadian, Chaldean, Hindi, Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Medes, Persians, Greek, and Roman astronomers recognized, over a distant time period, the same “zodiacal signs,” both as to the meaning of their names and their order! How could this be if we all spoke different languages and cultures didn’t even know of other cultures existing for thousands of years? There has never been a record in history, a cultural argument as to the names of the stars and constellations! This would suggest their zodiacs were but copies of an even older zodiac, and because we find such universal agreement on the constellations, it is evident that the patterns were fixed according to some well-developed ancient religion, presumably Sumerian, or an older more ancient culture.
Before I get into describing what it was that Ezekiel saw in his vision, I first need to set the groundwork by looking at the story of Job and encounter with God. If you research the Book of Job, you will find that no theologian or historian has ever been able to place Job’s ordeal in a relevant ancient period of time as there is no historical reference point to cite within the text. As a clue, it appears that everybody was getting along [sons of God, God, GOD, Satan, Job] at the time, so Job’s story must therefore have occurred before the “fall?” of Satan, and thus, must have been a pre-flood event.
Years ago, I read a book, authored by Dr. B.G. Sidarth titled “Celestial Keys to the Vedas,” a book wherein the author, an astronomer and current director of the B.M. Birla Science Center in India, was explaining how he arrived at deciphering many of India’s holy books such as The Upanishads, The Puranas, The Dhammapada, the Rig Vedas, The Bhagavad Gita, etc. As I was reading his analysis, I suddenly felt as if I had just experienced the biggest ‘AHA’ moment of my life! I had found a key to decipher Christian biblical text.
As Siddarth, a spiritual person in search of the meaning of life, explained his analysis, in translating the poetry of the Indian holy books it suddenly dawned upon him that the written poetry appeared to be metaphors and allegories in describing celestial or astronomical events, the stars, the constellations, and with it some of India’s historical events. Armed with this new enlightenment, I went back to some of the Old and New Testament books to see if I could also superimpose the metaphor concept, and to my great surprise, I could apply the same! Now, my discovery may not in fact be new or original in dealing with the Christian bible and Judaic Torah, but I have never seen or heard of any similar analysis. Having explained my approach to you in applying the metaphor concept, I will now proceed to decipher some of the deeply symbolic messages in the Old and New Testament.
When I read the bible [authorized King James Version], I scrutinize what is being said, who is doing the saying, and then analyze why certain words are used, and many times, have to look up the actual meanings of these words. While the bible in English is translated from both the Hebrew and Greek, in fact, the Hebrew and Greek translations are taken from much older languages that predate both these languages. You have the Sanskrit language, the Egyptian language, the Chaldean language, the Akkadian language, and finally Sumerian language, this oldest language, which is estimated to be at least 6,000 years old. It is well known by linguistic scholars that the Sumerian language is the mother of all Semitic languages, which includes Hebrew. There is one older language that predates all of the aforementioned languages, however, no expert linguist has been able to decipher this language to date. What is missing is a sort of Rosetta stone that will provide linguists with the essential keys necessary to decipher this mysterious language. Also, I refrain from using any of the contemporary bibles as their translations into easy-to-read English loses much of it’s meaning from the Authorized King James Version.
I am selecting the following starting point, a quote from The Book of Job to set the tone, two scientific fields of study that will emerge from these verses, and the powerful messages that are being conveyed to us readers to consider and investigate. [Note: please note that the words in parenthesis from biblical passages are words added in by the translators.] Job, the righteous guy that he is, has endured much suffering with trials and tribulations, but is now getting his butt blistered by God verbally, because Job is now angry with God questioning all of the suffering he has had to endure to test his faith, and starts to question God why.
God then starts to chastise Job and commences a long discourse on “who dares to question the authority of God!”[By the way, in Job 1:6, who are the “sons of God” that presented themselves before the Lord, and that Satan, was also among them? If you look in the margins of your bible, the term Satan is translated by the translators to mean adversary, which is NOT necessarily evil. Adversary just means “ equal or opponent.” Further down in verse 8, when the Lord is offering Job as an example, why does the Lord [Lord also has many different meaning] say that Job fears God, instead of “ loves” God? This reminds me of God sparing Abraham’s son, Isaac from being sacrificed on the alter, when told by God to stop because NOW he knew that Abraham feared God. Again, why is not love mentioned?
In Job 39:9, God mentions a Unicorn! If you look in the margin, the translators state it is a rhinoceros. Why? Because we just can’t believe that there is such a thing as a Unicorn because we have never seen one! But if God said it was a Unicorn, then it must of have been a Unicorn, not a rhinoceros. Or perhaps God doesn’t know the difference between a Unicorn and a rhinoceros? If God can name all the stars, I think God knows a Unicorn when he sees one!]
Do you see why I state that we read over these passages, but never stop to think about what is being stated? That which the eyes see, the ears hear, the mind believes, and that is our major problem as our mind is continually deceived and trained to accept what is only perceived through the visible light spectrum, and our dogmatic belief system! All these biblical passages just scream to be investigated!
Back to my original message, though, so let’s take a look at Job 38:31-33, as I have underlined the key terms in these verses.
Amos 5:8 “Seek him that maketh the seven stars [Pleiades] and Orion…”
Job 38:31-33: “Canst though bind the sweet influences of the Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst though bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? Or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? Knowest though the ordinances of heaven? Canst though set the dominion thereof in the earth?”
God is making a declaration to Job, and to us, and in these four short passages, is giving us much to consider! Why is God referencing star clusters like the Pleiades and the Belt of Orion? What is Mazzaroth? What are the ordinances of heaven? What is the “setting of dominion in the earth?” We have just been given much to ponder, and yet, when we read this, we just gloss over it, never to fathom the depth of the message being conveyed to us. Our [Stanford PhD] teacher once told us that when God makes a comment, we are supposed to LISTEN, as a very important point is being made for us to research and understand. GOD does not waste words and everything written is supposed to be understood, and not glossed over! This is how investigative research commences, with puzzling comments such as rendered above that should draw you to search.
The first question asked is: What is the “sweet influences of the Pleiades?” The Pleiades is a star cluster located near the constellation of Taurus the Bull and is visible to the naked eye, depending upon atmospheric conditions. Generally, one has to look away to view the cluster with ones peripheral vision. The Pleiades is called the “Seven Sisters” because seven stars is what can normally be seen by one peripheral vision, but I have looked at this cluster through 10/50 binoculars and have observed many, many brilliant blue hot stars in the background, and it is one magnificent sight to behold. The constellation Pleiades is located in the neck of another important constellation, Taurus the Bull, and the word Pleiades means “the congregation of the judges” or “rulers.” Who are these judges and rulers? The brightest star in this cluster is “Al Cyone,” which is in Arabic, and means “the center.” The center of what? All this I will leave for another blog, folks.
So what is so special about these stars and what of the ‘sweet influences’ noted in the bible passage?
In a book titled “Infinite Mind: Science of the Human Vibrations of Consciousness” authored by Dr. Valerie Hunt, a professor of Neurophysiology and Psychology at U.C.L.A., Hunt conducted experiments in what is called the “Mu” room, simulating the effects of electromagnetic effects simulating those discharged by the hot blue stars known as the Pleiades Cluster.” The Mu room is a shielded room located in the physics department at UCLA, where the natural electromagnetic energy of the air can be altered without changing the level of gravitational force or the oxygen content. Using instruments inside the room, physicists could alter the quantities as well as the specific frequencies of the electromagnetic field.
The results of the experiments were nothing less than startling and most revealing. When volunteers in the experiment were exposed to higher levels of electromagnetic energy beyond the norm encountered on earth such as what is generated by magnetar stars like the Pleiades, the subjects’ physical balance vastly improved to the point where the volunteers could easily stand on one foot, even on tiptoes, or lean to previously impossible angles without falling. Somehow, their motor coordination had greatly improved. In addition, the subjects reported that their cognition became clearer and as well, experienced an expansion of their consciousness with enhanced emotional well-being and excitement. More staggering were the implications of rapid and permanent healing of neuromuscular disturbances and degeneration such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and Lou Gehrig’s disease. Likewise, emotional disturbances, sensory confusion and learning handicaps did greatly diminish if not disappear. The “sweet influences of the Pleiades! How could simple ancient people know of these “sweet influences” of the Pleiades cluster? Or was it that GOD, or someone, has been there and knows of the benefits of this star cluster? The book is a great read, cites a number of scientific studies, and is recommended if you would be interested for your own intellectual growth.
What about the Bands of Orion? What is so important with the Bands of Orion? To answer this, we must combine this symbol with the final two questions to be asked and answered, below. Briefly though, Orion is the most brilliant of all the constellations. The constellation figure is that of a great hunter with a mighty club in his right hand shown in the act of striking. In his left hand he holds the skin of a slain lion. His left foot is in the act of crushing the head of the enemy. He wears a brilliant starry girdle from which hangs a mighty sword. The hilt of the sword is in the form of the head of a body of a lamb. In Greek and Roman mythology, the figure Orion was the center of many legends concerning the hero-god who lived and died on earth, but even then he had been no ordinary man. He was a giant in stature and courage; a great hunter who had the power to walk unharmed over the waters of the earth.
The names of the stars in this sign are quite fascinating and warrant more elaboration. The brightest star is named “Betelgeuz” and means “the coming of the branch.” The next star in brilliancy (in the left foot of the figure constellation) is “Rigel” and means “the foot that crusheth.” The lifted foot in the very act of crushing the head of the enemy thus illustrates the name. Another star (one of the three in the belt) is called “Al Nitch” meaning “the wounded one. In his left breast shines a bright star named “Bellatrix” which means “swiftly coming” or “suddenly destroying.” Other star-names, in Arabic relate to this prince. The star named “Al Giauza’ means “the branch:” the star “Al Gebor” means “the mighty:” the star “Al Mirzaim” means “the ruler;” the star “Al Nagjed” means “the prince:” the star “Niphla” in Chaldean means “the might,” and the star “Nux” in Hebrew means “the strong.” Why are there so many meanings attached to the stars? The answer is because the ancient were in fact relating a story to the people of the earth in the future of the glory of “the one with no name” that created everything. I will cover more about this in a future blog as well.
The next question asked is about the Mazzaroth? [This is the focal point of this entire treatise, and if you gain nothing else from this writing, know that the zodiac constellations plays an extremely significant part in deciphering many of the hidden messages in the Bible.] As I stated in my prior blog, first there was the science, and then came the astrology! If you research the word, Mazzaroth, for it’s meaning, you will find that it states “the 12 signs” and it may even be stated so in the margins of your bible. But what are the 12 signs? Well, if you lived in the Near East around the Mesopotamia area, you would be looking up in the sky viewing the stars in the evening, and what is it that one observes in the evening sky? You would observe the Constellations, but not just any Constellation because there were 36 in all at the time of the ancient cultures, but 12 main constellations around the earth’s ecliptic. Why these 12? Because these 12 constellations are all located on the ecliptic, between the Earths equator and 30th parallel line, where all the ancient cultures were located in Mesopotamia. And what is the ecliptic? It is the apparent solar path through the star constellations that our earth “travels” as it orbits around the sun.
In actuality, there are 13 constellations around the ecliptic, however only 12 were used by ancient cultures to record time [Astro-archeology or Archeo-astronomy] and historic events. These 12 constellations would be seen from both the northern and southern hemispheres of the globe. As far as the remaining 24 constellations, there are 12 more constellations north of the 30th parallel earth line, and 12 more constellations south of the equator. The primary 12 constellations were located between the equator and the 30th parallel line and were used by ancient cultures in recording history. Today many more constellations have been named and you can find all of them in astronomy books, however, the MAIN constellations to focus on are the 12 constellations on the ecliptic. Each constellation has specific representations, however, I will only focus on the main 12 constellations for now, all named after the “Congregation of the Gods” as noted in Psalms 81:1.
In tracing the names of the Constellations, one has to go all the way back to the Sumerian era at least 6,000 years ago and longer. The Sumerian culture was quite advanced and they wrote their history down in over 50,000 tablets and copper scrolls noting their law, government, business contracts, commerce, science, medicine, mathematics, and so forth. Thousands of tablets are still in the process of being translated by scholars, and many of the scrolls can be found in museums around the globe. As we are beginning to find out, the Sumerian peoples were accomplished mathematicians, engineers, artists, economists, and had a well developed legal system, medicine and business commerce. At the minimum, Sumerian astronomers can be credited for the ancient and present names of the Constellations. The Sumerian culture seemed to vanish over night; much of their knowledge was passed down to Egypt around 3,000 BC, towards the end of the fourth millennium BC.
Returning to the 12 Constellations, imagine viewing the earth below, viewing the earth during procession [wobble] and noticing where one of the constellations runs tangent to the ecliptic path of the sun. This picture below shows the summer solstice, as the northern hemisphere is titled greatly to the right, or toward the sun. When the Spring and Fall Equinox is achieved, the zodiac is aligned perfectly with the equator of the earth, and both day and night are equal in length of time, thus the term “equinox,” or equal.
The names of the 12 main constellations are: [SUMERIAN first, then English]. Please also see the last page for a pictorial depiction of the Zodiac.

The next question asked is of “Arcturus with his sons?” What the heck does this mean? In astronomy, the star Arcturus is the brightest star in the Bootes Constellation, consisting of 54 stars, with the star being of the first magnitude, meaning it is very bright at night. In history, the ancient Egyptians called the star “Smat” which means “one who rules, subdues, and governs. The Greeks, not fully recognizing the meaning of this sign, called it a ploughman and gave it the name of “Bootes.” The fallacy of this interpretation is apparent from the fact that the so-called plough, they depict, and the man, are set in opposite directions. However, the Greeks were not consistent to their idea of a ploughman for they also called this man, “Arcturus,” the watcher, guardian, or keeper of “Arktos” (the adjoining constellation), his sons? In all the ancient zodiacs, we find Arktos representing “the flock, the sheepfold,” thus showing Bootes is not a ploughman, but the guardian and keeper of the sheepfold.
The Hebrew meaning of the name of this constellation is “the coming.” The sickle in his hand represents him as a reaper. There is a wealth of meaning in the names of the stars making up this constellation figure. Arcturus, the bright star in the figure’s left knee, is mentioned in Job 9:9. It means “He cometh.” The star “Alkaturop” (in the spear or rod in the figure of the constellation) means “the branch, treading under my foot.” But who or what is it that is coming? That is for another blog, along with the meaning of the star in Sumerian!
The next question is really the final two sentences regarding the Ordinance of heaven and setting the dominion over the earth. Obviously, man could not exercise any control over the movements of the constellations, but had to wait for each sign to appear in the order of its season. This is what is called the “procession of the equinoxes,” the orbital movement of not just the earth, but our solar system through the 12 constellations which takes approximately 25,980 years or 72 years for one arc degree to pass. In practice though, the ancients used astronomical citing from the Sphinx in Egypt to announce on the first day of Spring Equinox just before sunrise, which constellation was rising. Some constellations are actually much larger than others, and while modern science uses an average of 72 years for one arc degree, in fact, the actual citing was dominant in ancient times in announcing the new ruler-ship of a new God as soon as the new constellation was in view. There is one more wrinkle to this topic, having to do with the speeding up of the procession of the constellations, but I will save this for another blog.
So where is the starting point to observe the passing of these constellations? The answer is: the great pyramid of Egypt, Cheops, and specifically, the Sphinx, which sits on the 30th parallel, facing directly eastward observing the dawning of the sun every day. Why the pyramids in Egypt? Because that specific area is the exact center of the landmass on earth, and the great pyramids are physically laid out in the constellation form of the Band of Orion! That in itself is a great message for all of us to understand, that the pyramids followed the exact layout of the Band of Orion of nearly 10,500 BC, with the Nile River perfectly aligning itself on the horizon with the spiral arm of the galaxy, as though it is a continuation. Another most interest fact is how the Great Pyramid Cheops is laid out with its four corners facing exactly to the four cardinal points, that is, compass north, south, east and west, verified today through modern astronomists. How could such primitive people first understand the importance of Orion, or know of the exact cardinal points on earth! And when was the appropriate time to view the movement of the constellations to record time and historical events? On the first day of the ancient year; the day of the Spring Equinox just before sunrise, around March 18 through the 23rd, depending upon the year to observe which constellation was in place just before sunrise.
The Spring Equinox is on the first day of Spring and Autumnal Equinox is the first day of Fall, when the Earth’s axis is neither leaning toward the sun nor away, so that night and day are of equal length, 12 hours each. The exact point of equinox is that split second when a line drawn from the Sun to the Earth intersects the Earth’s axis at exactly a 90-degree angle. At that moment, the Sun is overhead on the equator and both poles are half-light and half-dark. For this year, 2010, the Spring Equinox falls on March 20th at 10:32 AM, daylight savings time. All of the ancient cultures recognized that the Spring Equinox introduced the New Year on the first day of equinox. It wasn’t until centuries later that the New Year was changed to January 1, established during the Egyptian dynasties, denoting when the Star Sirius, lay directly overhead Egypt at midnight.
In the books, “The Message of The Sphinx: A Quest for the Hidden Legacy of Mankind,” by Robert Bauval and Graham Hancock, and “The Orion Mystery,” by Robert Bauval and Adrian Gilbert, they did extensive research on the relationship between the Great Pyramids of Egypt, Band of Orion, and the Constellations. In both books, the authors noted using computer-aided software modeling in astronomy, and were able to perform a computer regression and plot the location of the constellations back to approximately 12,500 years ago [10,500 BC] when the spiral arm of the Milky Way Galaxy and the three stars of Orion’s Belt at meridian transit was precisely matched by the course of the Nile river and the pattern of the three great Pyramids on the ground, observed directly from the Sphinx. I recommend both books as a great read for all the scientific [astronomical and mathematical] information provided within the books.
It is a matter of contentious debate as to the age of the pyramids and the Sphinx, but certainly they are much older than the age claimed by the Egyptian government of approximately 2,500 BC. For the Egyptian government to claim otherwise would immediately dismantle Egypt’s contributing claim to the progress of civilization, which historian openly admit that the knowledge of man extends well beyond Egyptian history. To admit that an older civilization(s) was responsible for their national monuments would remove Egypt from any major consideration of their contribution to man. But the archeological evidence is there, and supported by other scientific and geological investigation and proven evidence of the significant rain and flood damage to the pyramids and Sphinx. There has been absolutely no catastrophic flood or rain damage within the past 4,500 years, so how would the Sphinx account for visible flood damage, unless if the monument was far older than claimed.
To make all of this really interesting, if you ever visit Washington DC, you will observe many, many monuments, statues, paintings, stele’s, depicted throughout many federal government buildings! Why? Because when Washington DC was first laid out, the founders’ of these united States of America were Freemasons, and left their mark upon the capital with a great amount of Masonic symbolism, primarily dealing with the constellations, stars, GOD, and the first Masonic Temple in Washington DC. Furthermore, many of our Presidents were in fact 33 degree Masons, as was FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, and many other central political figures. This I will save for a future blog.
Now that I have introduced and verified the science disciplines of Astronomy and Astro-Archeology and their relationship to the biblical verses, I am now ready to reveal what it was exactly that the Prophet Ezekiel saw in his vision, as well as what the Apostle John saw in his vision in the Book of Revelation. Why is all of this symbolism so important! Because The “One who has no name” DEEMED it important enough to fill the Bible with many astronomical symbolic passages for us to consider and investigate! All of this symbolism is crucial in understanding the history of man on this planet earth, and the recorded time frame for our existence here, as noted in the “signs” of the heavens.
To reiterate, if you gain nothing else from this blog, it is that when GOD mentions something, GOD is telling you something specific, and we are to hone in on this for investigation! GOD does not waste words upon us! Astronomy is significantly important for us to understand, and is the key to unlocking many of the important symbolic verses laden throughout the bible!
All of this in my next blog, folks, so please, continue to search, search, search, and ye shall find the truth!
I leave you below with this beautiful woodcut by Albrecht Durer, exhibiting the constellations in the northern hemisphere, first exhibited in 1515 in Nurnberg, Germany. Study it well in preparation for my next blog on Ezekiel and John!
Blessing to us all
